Take a hike! | amee's Blog

          Today my church and my family decided to go the the hike that was a youth activity. When we got to the church my Mom dropped us off and by us I mean the older kids of the family. Mark, Hayden, Tonya, Christina and Me Amee. We were standing there as Mom drove away and shortly was greeted by the youth director Mrs.Amanda. Who recently got some sergery to make her skinny. So she looked really gross and eww! Ok anywho.

          "Hey guys ready to take a hike?" She asked putting her hands on her waist and smiling showing off her bran new whiten teeth. "Yeah, cant wait!" Hayden said laughing after all she was the one who suggested that we even take a hike. The wind blew and it was cold.  "Great! Well we are all meeting inside! So come on guys!" She said turing back towards the church.

         I did have a minor head ache because of my resent eye problem aka- being punched by my sister! The patch was off but I did still have a bruse under my eye.

         Mrs.Amanda held the door open while we walked in after each other. I saw almost everyone in the youth group all talking to each other then I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned and it was Blake! Boy did he look cute! "Hey Blake hows it going?" I asked. "Good, good, uhm wow your eye healed fast huh?" He said looking at my messed up eye.  "Yeah I guess so...." I said smiling. "Great so I'll see you on the hike?" He asked. "Yeah!Totally!" I said. "Great see ya!" He said patting my shoulder and then walking over to the mens restroom and went in.

            Then Mark went in after him. About four minutes later Mark walked out and motioned for me to come towards him. "Hang on guys be back in a second." I said to my friends. I walked over to him and said. "Whats up?"  He looked around. "Look Blake is head over hills for you!" He said. "What? What are you talking about?" I asked him. "I over herd Blake in the restroom and  he was talking to some other dude and he was like talking about you." He said. "Well what did he say?" I asked.

           Then Mrs.Amanda shouted from the other side of the room. "Guys! Time to pray!" I sighed. "Tell me later." I said. Then we walked to the middle of the room and held hands with each other and bowed our head and Mrs.Amanda began to pray. 

          After praying we all met outside and picked were we wanted to ride. I got stuck in the mini van of Mrs.Becky. A women in her forty's whose kids were all grown and she and her husbend lived in a cabbin that was only a mile away from the church.   I got into the van first and sat in the back seat and then Paige sat next to me and then three other girls got into the back.

         On the way over there Paige pulled out her cell phone and began to text her older brother Blake. Yes, I was snupping and reading her text. Here is what she wrote:                             

Blake guess who I'm sitting next to?

who?

That girl that got punched in sunday school last week.

o- Amee? Yeah so?

Well didnt you say you liked her?

No. Who told you that?"

You did last week! Duh! Retard!

O- yeah I remember. But Lynn said she had a boyfriend. So I gave up.

O. Peace out brother!

                     Then she stoped texting. I didnt get it. Lynn my friend told him I had a boyfriend when I told her I liked him. I most liked his blue eyes and brown hair, and the fact that he was taller then me! No guy I meet is taller then me. So I really liked him.

           Then we pulled into the park area were we were going to take our hike.  We started up the hill then Mark ran up next to me. "So what did he say?" I asked him. "That he liked you  but he didnt think you liked him back." I sighed. "Huh? Thats weird." I said. "You like Blake?" He asked. "Duh!" I laughed. "Ok..."

 

            FOURTY SEVEN MINUTES LATER.......

         I was sitting at the park table eating my lunch when I herd my cell phone do its little jingle that meant I had a text message. I pulled my phone out of my back pocket and  I didnt recongnize the number so I opened the message and it read:  Hows that Sandwhich?  I looked around and didnt see anyone with a cell phone out or loking at me. I turned to Lizzie my friend and asked. "Did you send me this message?" She looked at it. "No, girl I've been sitting here next to you the whole time!" She laughed and nudged my side.

         

                I hit the reply button and wrote. Pretty good... Who is this? Then it jingled again. Meet me by the restroom. I got up and walked over to the bathroom and didnt see anyone. Then looked around the couner and Blake was standing with one leg on the wall and his back against it. "Hey...."

             I was surrprized and BLUSHING! I never blush may I remind you! "Hey... How did you get my cell number?" I asked. "Lynn... I asked her for it. Then she said rudly you had a boyfriend..." He said rubbing his fingers threw my hair.  "Well, I dont..." I said looking into his eyes. And he looked back and smiled.  "You have a pretty eye." And then laughed. "Haha! Very funny!" I turned and began to walk back to the table. "Wait!Amee!" And then he running up to me.

            I looked up at him. "What?" I asked. "Never mind..." And he walked away. I still am wondering when he will ever ask me out! But I gotta get to bed! Tomorrow our church is having a fair and I got the kissing booth! Great huh? Well I'll tell you about it tomorrow! Bye!
